A library is an “index to the world,”  and ours is no exception.  Morgan Academy’s library is open to all students and faculty to check out books, conduct internet searches, research the reference section, as well as newspapers and magazines.

Pre-Kindergarten – 6th Grade have designated weekly visits to the library. See schedule for timing.

Junior High and Senior High students may visit the library during break or as needed.

Come explore the world through our library!

Accelerated Reader (AR) program has been instrumental in developing students into good readers. The program tests students’ comprehension of books read independently.  Students are eligible for AR beginning in the 2nd grade at Morgan Academy, and contests are held throughout the year to encourage readers to reach new levels in their reading.  Progress is tracked and rewarded throughout the year.

Today, we live in a global community that is ever-increasing in connectivity.  As an educational institution, Morgan Academy realizes its responsibility in preparing students to become leaders in utilizing technology for learning and growth.

Our entire campus is wireless with every classroom having interactive white boards or projectors. Currently, 10th-12th graders are allowed to bring their own device for course study.

For the 2016-2017 schoolyear, iPads were incorporated into each course of study to strengthen the teaching and learning experience. School-owned iPads will be issued to all teachers and all 7th-12th grade students. IPad centers will be installed in Kindergarten-6th grade classrooms (5 devices per classroom).

The Lower School Computer Lab has 28 networked computers where students in Pre-K through 6th grade have weekly classes.

Computer Team competes in the State Technology Fair each spring.

The Upper School Computer Lab has 24 networked computers.

Computer Team competes annually in the State AISA Technology Fair and the ACE Competition.
